Hong Kong Maritime Week 2018

Co-organised by the Hong Kong Maritime and Port Board, the Hong Kong Shipowners Association and the Hong Kong Maritime Museum, the Hong Kong Maritime Week (HKMW) 2018 was held from 18 to 24 November 2018, in partnership with Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Invest Hong Kong.
The Maritime Week was well-received by the industry. A total of 54 events and activities with themes straddling across ship finance, marine insurance, shipping technology, ship management, port and logistics, manpower and maritime education, etc. were held by over 60 local and international industry bodies, academic institutions and professional organisations. The seven-day Week attracted a total attendance of 14 000 industry representatives from Hong Kong, Mainland and overseas, as well as students, youths and the general public. The HKMW has become a signature event in the region for professional exchange, industry development as well as business networking.
HKMW is a concerted effort of Hong Kong’s maritime and port industries. We are grateful for the enormous support of the industry partners for taking part in the Week, without which it would not have been such a great success.
