With the enhancement, applications are also accepted throughout the year. In addition to providing students with internship opportunities in various maritime-related companies, the Scheme also organised the MAIS Boat Tour cum Sharing Session 2023 on 14 July. Apart from this, student interns were given a chance to visit the Modern Terminals Limited and the Government Dockyard on 19 July and 18 August 2023 respectively. Through these activities, student interns can explore more about the operations of the maritime and port facilities of Hong Kong.

The MAIS Boat Tour cum Sharing Session 2023 was held on a local large harbour cruise, "Oriental Pearl". The honorable guest, Mr. LIU Chun San, JP, the Acting Secretary for Transport and Logistics delivered the welcome speech in addition to sharing the development and opportunities in Hong Kong’s maritime industry to over 200 participants.
